Ryan Nelson, CGD

I am a certified graphic designer and a member of the Graphic Designers of Canada, the country's national governing body for design professionals. I graduated from Medicine Hat College in 1995 with a Diploma in Visual Communications. Multiple credits units in traditional art disciplines were obtained over the three year diploma, including lithography, serigraphy, typography, fundamentals of stage & theatre production, 6 painting units, 6 drawing units. Additional courses included art & design fundamentals, survey of art history, photography, marketing and computer graphics. Since the start of my graphic design career, I embraced the quick shift from paper to computer and from colour keys to PDF proofs. I have worked as a graphic designer for major Saskatchewan shortline manufacturers and have also operated my own freelance graphic design business for over 20 years. Currently I am the Brand Design Specialist at Cornerstone Credit Union. I continue to draw and paint whenever I can find the time.
